Getting some really pretty eggs!

I just wanted to share. Not the most artistic photo, but I'm so happy with the different colored eggs!!!

Suprisingly, the dark ones are from one of my RSL hens.

A couple of my red sex links lay some pretty dark eggs too! I just need some blue or green eggs. I have some EE chicks and Copper Marans so should have some dark and blue/green eggs by the summer!

That alone is the gist of the breeds that I keep. A beautiful egg basket! I have black copper maran, cuckoo maran, EE's and buff orpington. I also have what appears to be one sex link between a black copper maran and cuckoo maran. Annnndddd I have one olive egger that hatched from some shipped eggs that isn't yet laying. I'm going to put a couple of my EE's in with my black copper marans when they grow enough so I can hatch out that color in my basket too!

Your eggs are very pretty and they're nicely shaped too. You can take some very artsy photos of eggs like those.

Thanks everyone! I just recently got the EEs and the RSL that lays the terracotta colored eggs. They really completed the collection. Of course now the talk of olive eggs...Hmmm.......Maybe I'm not done yet.

I could breed my RSL with my BW Ameraucana rooster. That might do it!
