It’s nice to meet you!

Welcome to BYC, the centre of the chicken community! Any questions you have will be followed with detailed responses from experts and others who have experienced the same situations. You can share photos and stories from you flock. You will also meet the most amazing and kind people here and make lots of new friends who enjoy the same hobby as you! Enjoy! You will fit right in.

Good afternoon and welcome to BYC Rene! That really does look like a nice chicken habitat and lovely location. Interesting switch from totally bantam to all LF. Surprised you didn’t want to keep a few bantams. I just got a few bantams last year, mostly seramas and they are just adorable. Sounds like you must have lots of room so enjoy your new big birds.

We had a pack of dogs come in that killed off our Banty's! :( So that is why we will be increasing the pen size to keep our chickens confined! I might get some more, they are so adorable! Thank you for the welcome! :)
