Hello we live in north Mississippi have been getting eggs from a good friend for several months and decided I wanted to get some chickens for pets and egg production and for our 2.5 year old grandson to play and help with. A friend at work ordered some chickens and introduced me to this site I got 5 Wyandottes & 2 Red sexlinks to start with. I am thinking about a tractor and coop. we have 100 Ac with a few. cows and horses on the land. we live In the middle so we are going to let the chickens free range with a coop or tractor to house them in. I have not had them but 2 days and already am enjoying being around them this is a photo of the chickens in the shop with my grand son
