thank you for your welcome and advice. we have decided to start off with two barred rock bantam hens. we will go with cochins for our next round. after all of the research they seem the best suited for our climate, they are docile and very pretty. is it better to get your flock going at one time to avoid dominance or fighting? we were hoping to increase our flock slowly.
