I live in central Florida and have finally have enough room to take my interest in homesteading to the next level. I am in the process of setting my many projects into motion. I plan to start with 30 chickens for both eggs and meat. In addition to my chickens I am also raising pigs, turkeys, and starting an aquaponics system. We will be adding goats to our little projects shortly there after. I am a single mother with 3 kids, 2 cats, and 1 very needy dog. All of my projects are a kind of combined project that me and my bestfriend are starting together. I have recently started fostering animals for the local SPCA.
