But right now there's shadecloth all over the hoop houses to cut the wind. I like them better than tarps because it gets really really windy sometimes and the tarps will rip off. The shadecloth lets a little bit of a breeze through.

i have a hoop house here in New Hampshire

my muscovy ducks are in it at the moment

i went up about 2 feet on the ends with 1/2" plywood to make it a bit stronger

i'm on my 2nd year with the blue tarp roof

i nailed it 10 ways from sunday so it is on to stay

welcome back Oz happy new year. You probably don't get them in California but we get those kind of temp swings quite frequently in Texas.
