Getting the flock out of here - a diary of a crazy chicken man

I like this one:

"Hello,

I am Colin Henzel, Head of Operations, Euromillions Lottery, UK. I have a Business proposition for you, worth £1,000,000. 00 (One Million Great British Pound Sterling). All I require of you, is Sincerity and total commitment towards this project. You will be entitled to 40% of the above amount on successful completion of our Business venture.

If you are interested, kindly reply to my private email: [email protected] for a detailed information on this proposal.

Regards,
Colin Henzel
Email: [email protected]"

You'd think that the Head of Operations might at least have an e-mail address from a domain registered to a company.

Dodong covered a lot on Tuesday:

He completed the sort of 23 untagged chickens. Thehens went to the correct coops while the roos ended up in coop inasal. they will either be kept as back up roos, sold or eaten
Mixed 500kg of feed
weighed the 10 week old piglets.

Tomorrow is Fowl Cholera vaccination day for all young birds.

Well - on a micro-chicken-raising note, I just ordered an incubator!  I had to tell someone, because my family is not really into chickens.

I'm excited to finally try and hatch some chicks myself, and this will push me to get the coop and run fixed up.  I ordered an ecoglow brooder too, so it will be fun to try out all the new toys.

Thanks for listening :D

Are you planning on joining the Easter hatch a long?

I would love to, but we'll be gone days 11-16 and I don't want to leave the bator in an empty, cool house for my first hatch. DD#1 goes back to work soon since her maternity leave is almost over, so we want to spend time with her and her husband, our 2 1/2 year old grandson and our new granddaughter, Chloe.

That is too bad. Maybe if you get a broody hen you could throw the eggs under while you are gone?
