Getting the flock out of here - a diary of a crazy chicken man

Thanks guys. I called southern states and spoke to a nice guy in the livestock nutrition dept. He says for a flock of mixed age and sex birds this maintainer is a good feed. He says its even good for teenage birds past 8 weeks as soon as they are off starter. He told me starter is not a good choose for adult birds as it is high in protein and calories for energy and will make mature birds gain weight. He also recommend a feed called rock in rooster that's a game bird style developer. Even though its 20% protein it is lower in calories and high in amino acids that all birds will do well on. Without making them fat. Both feeds I'm interested in come only in pellet form which I've never fed before. I'm still torn on what to do but the maintainer at 15% with oyster shell seems like a safe bet. As a bonus this maintainer is only $10.50 for 50lbs.

And then again sometimes I wish I didn't care about these roosters and could just feed everyone 16% layer and forget about it.

Good price

I prefer pelleted because there is less waste...

It's scary stuff when you have to travel during storms. We get heavy winds, serious rain, the worst, spin off tornadoes from the gulf hurricanes so I understand somewhat but those waves?! No way!!

My brother in law is a PAL pilot on this route. I have also experienced some close typhoons. PAL is very cautious when weather is bad.

we will get into manila. i just hope we can get out.All the planes are booked our so just one messed up flight will set off a nasty chain reaction.
