Btw, I think I figured out the bearding issue... very rarely pops up, but always with the same hen... but she is also the one that lays the darkest, most saturated eggs... want me to exclude hers or keep including them?

We held them back. The real issue is day old chicks as they have to be with the customer within 72 hours of hatch or viability plummets. Delays with DOC cause a roll over delay for a few shipments.

Yes, day olds are very time sensitive.

Agrilink was pretty good. The guy I partnered with sold P53000 ($1200) worth of orders. After his cut we netted about $850 which is not bad. I did not sell at all this week so as not to double book so the net net is a little lower if you add opportunity costs,

He said we could have sold triple if we had inventory there. The prolem with that is what inventory to send.

One pig is about half way through her preganacy. the other two older gilts missed and then have come on heat on a sunday which makes it hard to AI. next cycle i will arrange semen to get here on the saturday.

the goats should start dropping again soon.
