@Phage This thing gave us a blue egg today

That is NOT a Legbar The only chickens I had at the time were 10 Legbars hens and a Legbar cockerel. Plus 2 other hens - a hen hatched from a trader joe's egg who laid tan eggs and a black hen that was half Legbar and half croad langshan. She laid blue-green eggs. Her babies with the Legbar were usually black or barred but almost black -not almost white. Guess that hen came from her eggs. I believe I mentioned that there was a slight chance that you could have gotten a couple of her eggs but bad luck that she is one of the few surviving birds from that hatch So that hen is a 3/4 Legbar so a mutt. What is the comb though? It should be a regular straight comb. So disappointing that one of her eggs made it to hen hood in the Phils and not a true legbar. What are the rest like??? Hopefully regular Legbars. So sad

Maybe angle of picture but looks suspect.

But If so can't be from one of the blue eggs that came from me. They all have large straight combs.

the legbars are MIA. We have hundreds of birds in 20 tractors and they were mixed in,

Armed with pics of what they should look like, we have a BOLO out on them.
