Good old Hector is aging like the rest of us. He is seven now.




The Guineas have done well this year, We have hatched and sold a few hundred. The noise that these birds generate is truly amazing.

I am not really a fan of eating dog.. The meat is much nicer than cat though.

Our first dog on the farm as getting nice and fat. She disappeared in August - the lean financial time on our island. We wondered if she was eaten.

Dog is a delicacy up north but not eaten in our area.

I read something about the announcer reading out the wrong name and they pulled the crown off Miss Colombia's head. Steve Harvey won't be invited back.

Like the other countries that are former Spanish colonies, beauty pageants are a national sport in the Philippines.

Reminds me of my attempt to get home. I was on the phone with the airline. There was 1 mileage ticket to Manila in business class only. Said I would take it. The guy forgot to put in on hold while he processed my info and when he went to complete the reservation it was gone!!

Oh well. Probably not quite as bad as having a miss universe crown ripped off your head but the sooo close analogy is there.

I am flying to Spokane Washington tonight for work. I really must get some winter clothes. Maybe just a sweater lol.
