yes - but not because of flooding

I wanted to increase the size of their run but provide protection from the elements while still "outside" of the actual coop. I thought it would maximize space and be more economical than building a longer roof.

 

he built a bator with me, then divided the coop, built a pond and a coturnixx cage in a week - as well as his normal duties.

got to speak to him about his work ethic..

 

Bernie and Analou get paid vacation time, health insurance,we pay social security, bonuses, profit sharing and days off.

They also have their families visit. Bernie's family dropped in this week.

They do pretty well
