Maybe you should be looking for this breed in the Philippines?
i have some britts in my bator here in los angeles. shame i cant get you the chicksat this point they are not set up to do anything but allow the other people on their street to get some free chicken adobo![]()
there is a huge hill behind their house that they have been digging into so they can get more flat land
but when it rains dirt & even small rocks come down the hill.
the problem calls for a good solid rock retaining wall
we will probably start sending about p4000 a month over there
& we will see what we can get done by the end of the year
once the wall is finished then we will start with chicken coops & a couple pig pens
i sold some of my buff pullets that i had hatched today
while the guy was here i showed him my english roo
he is 50% bigger than my buff roo
the guy was really impressed but didn't want to pay what i was asking for the britt chicks
by next week i should be able to sex those same britt chicks
i think i'll see how well breeding pairs go
i'll also want to put the best looking pullets in with my adult birds
so i can have more than just the 3 layers that i have rite now.
by cold weather i think i want about 8 hens per breed
that will keep the roos happy
& come next Jan. i can hatch like a wild man
piglett
