Mine used to be out in the rain.... Dats when the best bugs can be found.... LOL. Course if its a down pour they slip into shelter.

I am actually going to give fermented feed a try when I get back up to the house...

we use 2 buckets for frementing our feed
when you start off just don't give them any other kind of feed
once they get used to it they love it
& the coop smells better too

they sure do eat less i can tell you that
the adults just finished their 1st molt & their new feathers look better than ever
the ducks do make a mess at the feeder though
as we have a mixed flock

those customs clowns don't even give me a second look

same at the SM mall the guard just lets me rite in

which is funny because i always carry a pocket knife

which i'm sure they would not like

but i like to have a little "backup" with me whenever i ride the jeepneys
