put a lid on any water container then drill holes in the topthat was a farm innovators i picked up on CL for 20 bucks. Its a still air and I was waiting for spacers to install the fan so I tried it out as a hatcher. I like to put a skyflakes container in a hovabator full of water for lockdown but it wont fit in this. I ended up putting a tupperware container in it. One of the chicks comitted hare kare by taking a dip while I was at work. Very depressing. I dont like the thermostat either. Way too sensitive. I amusing digital thermostat to control it.
I also have a HB Genesis with a picture window. What a great foam bator. Its dead on with its temp control.
i should have the 220v home made bator finished saturday
almost 1/2 way throught my 2nd hatch
this time i filled er up
looks like i need to run much less water in it
i try to keep it at about 40%
it was at 50% today when i checked so i had to pull both plugs so it would get back to where i wanted it
i'll bring er up to about 80% once day 18 arrives
