The gentleman apologized and is reshipping the eggs.

So now I have 48 very famous line Jersey Giants and Barred Rocks eggs that are going to arrive at my house 21 days before I fly. A week earlier or a week later would have been fine.

    Ay carrumba.

Sorry about your eggs oz. So he is sending the second set on the wrong date too? Think you might need to find a new supplier for them. Wish we could get jersey giants over here.

Oic I read it wrong. You couldn't make a quick flight to oz and sneak through the jersey giant eggs to me could you lol.

Wow - I sure wish I lived near you - I'd take them in a heartbeat! [IMG] I'm sure you won't have any trouble finding them a new home!

I'm also very happy to hear the seller was so courteous about resending the eggs on the proper date. Those are great breeds!!

And on the subject of recycling and coop builds, I have just finished a major "up-cycling" project, turning a 1970's horse trailer into my new multi-function chicken coop. If you're interested, you can see proof of my insanity Here.

And Oz - your chicks are looking fantastic! So wonderful to have a great guy like Bernie to take such good care of them when you can't be there!

I won't be needing any chickens for a while if I hatch some of mine now. (key words: "needing and "if") XD
