Getting the flock out of here - a diary of a crazy chicken man

I had a meeting with the kids teachers yesterday afternoon. It was great seeing the kids from their perspective.

This morning I went supply shopping to finish off the projects at CocoBeach. We then went to the kids swimming lessons and followed that with a dose of Aussie footy.

A good day
Yes! That does sound like a good day.
I hope you enjoy many more in a row.

Thanks

The trip home was pretty wild. We stopped and had to get something from a store and were drenched in seconds.

We made it home in good time as the weather kept the tricycles of the road. We did the 70 miles in 2:30. My record is 1:50.

The rain stopped just before we got home. The typhoon should be north east of Luzon now and heading to Vietnam. Our rains will settle back to the regularly scheduled afternoon showers.

Nine days till I leave. The coops will be complete this week. I have to install the water nipples and heat lamps on the pig farrowing pens and get the pressure washer mounted in the ceiling of the piggery

Busy times

The typhoon was just a strong breeze and lots of rain in our area. This mooring is clear.

The north and eastern seaboard of the Philippines is the catcher's mitt when it comes to tropical storms
