Getting the flock out of here - a diary of a crazy chicken man

vehve

you ask the darndest questions.

Bernie's wife took the money he had sent over to pay the payment on his motorcycle to leave him.

She disappeared.

He got a text from her aunt that she had his son. Analou had left Dave with her and that Bernie should come and get him.

All of Bernie's and Analou's family are on Bernie's side.

I was worried this was going to push him over the edge but it has made him more determined to succeed

Oz, I have an inquisitive mind

We are off to Dumaguete this afternoon to sell the copra and drop my guests at their next dive spot.

We will spend the night on the other side of the island and have a great seafood meal while we are there.

This morning I am working on getting the linear actuator turned into an egg turner unless something else comes up.

That is such hopeful news Oz!

At long last perhaps you've found folks who comprehend the opportunity you're presenting them. Very impressive that they took the initiative to try to impress you. Poor Bernie! What a heartache. I hope for his children's sake he is able to stay the course.

I sat Bernie down on Friday afternoon and have him advice.

I told him that eventually I will have a manager here with a degree in agriculture and pay him about five times what I pay a worker.

I then told him it should be him.

I said that he needs to use this as a wake up call and the best revenge on his wife is to become successful.

He needs to go to evening classes at the high school, learn to read properly and then get his GED and there is no reason not to.

We will cover any costs but its a six year plan and he needs to be committed.

We sent him off thinking about it and will bring it up in a week.

In the mean time he is hatching chicks and tending to the pigs.
