I guess you are changing the fixture. of ours not covered by warranty I would buy a like one and then return the defective one in the new ones packaging.

1630 hours Christmas Eve.

I just bought all the workers a beer and paid them their bonus and have them a T-shirt Mrs oz picked up for them in the USA.

the construction guys wanted to work tomorrow but I said no! they will be back Friday to start changing the garage roof to the same plastic roof on our house.

Dodong and Lillian will be off tomorrow and Bernie will hold down the fort.

the pig left for Bacolod today so I don't need to scramble in the morning. I more have until lunch time to leave.

that's the third cull. just mama pig to go. Bernie will sell her a week after weaning

YES! and whom I would trust to handle any kind of an 'oh sh=t' thing, I would rather have my Vet. see me then most people Doc's I have dealt with.

No offense but isn't she a veterinarian?

From what I was told way back when I was looking to be a
veterinarian it takes two more years of school to be one
than it does to be a doctor for people............ so in my rabid
little mind that means a vet can doctor people AND animals
.........but that's just me.......lol.

Vet training here is six years, plus more if you want to specialize. In my opinion Karin is a good trauma surgeon, but for human healthcare that isn't critical I would just see a human doctor.

Well, 9am here on Christmas eve so should be Christmas morning on the other side of the date line. Merry Christmas to all! You've had quite the ride there Oz! Always something else to deal with, but you seem to always persevere! Sounds like the domestic help issue may finally be taken care of and Dodong definitely sounds like a keeper

! Even sounds like Bernie might last this time as well (could it be because he's paired with Dodong?). I hope Lillian can get her time management under control and maybe take a cooking class (from you!?) ?

For those of us NOT well versed in animal husbandry, what exactly is "stilling" a sow? I know a sow is a female pig, but not sure what stilling is.

I thought you said you'd be culling her?
