Getting the flock out of here - a diary of a crazy chicken man

I just received word from Dick Horstman that he could not ship today.

A devastating blow to "getting the flock out of here, part 2 - the mother lode"

No Heritage RIR
No Silver Dorkings
No Blue Orpingtons

Honestly, I dont think I will ever get those RIR.

Your pekin eggs await delivery just tell me where an when....oh an the one egg carton is an experiment of 8 eggs from the beginning of march ...because I just don't have the heart to throw them out, so if don't mind tryin to hatch em ???
i will give them a try - i will txt you as soon as i can get logistics. sorted.

Thanks guys

Its just frustrating, I ordered paid for them over a month ago. Followed up with emails.

The guy may breed some of the highest quality birds around but I wont be getting them this trip.

I still have buff, lavender and lemon cuckoo orps coming so the breed is represented well.

I turned down some heritage New Hampshires because I was committed to Dicks RIR and did not want to have to make it hard for Bernie to separate them.

it's clear that you just can't have RiR's in the Philippines OZ
next time talk to Viv
she has high quality RiR's
i'm sure she will set you up with some for a few bucks

Shame I can't get mine to you. I have a gorgeous little RIR cockerel at about 3 weeks old. We can't keep him for too much longer. HE is in my AVI, called Milo.

Shame, I don't think we could get a live bird out of this country, let alone into another one. Would be pretty cool to know he was "Mr International Rhode Island Red", Philli population....1!

I am sure you will get there buddy.
