Getting the flock out of here - a diary of a crazy chicken man

we have a deal. feed gets paid first, then bernie gets 50% of net. my 50% goes to reinvestment for now. this encourages better use of feed, less wastage and more ownership.

works the same with our copra.

he does alright

how many gardeners in the philippines can in one year, own a caribau and are paying off a honda bike on a live-in servant salary?
probably none, most don't make much more than p4000 a month ($100)
some might do a little better but for the most part they live day to day/meal to meal

pig

PS: OZ we sent you a little something from new hampshire

Hey Oz - thank you for housing the roo! Alex spent 2 1/2 days in the hospital Mesenteric adenitis w/ intussusception she's home now and recovering like a champ. So sorry to impose on you with roo...I can pick him up tomorrow let me know when and where.

Sorry your kiddo had to deal with that - mine was "in" for 5 days with an intussusception two years ago. NO fun!
Glad to hear she's doing better!

Thank you....we found out that the intussusception was because the bowel was so inflamed it impressed the radiologist! then today I got a call from the Dr. and her stool was positive for Campylobacter, severe case of food poisoning. Told her she won't be eating anything from cooking class anymore! scared me! She's on antibiotics now and home for another week.

hey Oz...you drive as much as I do!! LOL....ah what we do to maintain our chicken habit! course goes with my horse habit, hatching habit and all my other habits...
nothing like a 3 hrs 160 mile evening drive. its worth it for a byc bestie. you have done double that in the name of getting the flock out of here
