we bought some in southern Mexico that claimed to be locally grown....saw wild orchids growing in Costa Rica "Cloud Forest" (along the mountain ridge where the clouds were almost constant....Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania has a lot of varieties of orchid, that place is a gardeners visual candy store.Awesome pix OZ.... Hey can you grow Vanilla?

I still would like a plant. It would be fun to atleast grow.Did a quick search Vanilla bean Orchids are a vine.... can get up to three hundred feet long. Pollination is done by hand.... They are native to Mexico. Processing the beans are quite labor intensive...
