Welcome aboard.Oz, I just found BYC this past week and found your thread yesterday. I have spent hours reading the first ten pages of it and am fascinated. I'm 26 and have been to the PIs three times in the last 11 years. The first time I went with my family; the last two I've gone by myself and stayed with friends there. My friends live in Angeles City on the main island.
The PIs truly feel my home away from home - that's how welcome and warm people are made to feel when they visit. My best friend in the world lives there and I speak just enough of Tagalog to surprise people lol. I can't wait to go back (I was there in Jan of '12), but in the meantime, reading this will have to do me![]()
Thanks!
I am glad to see you in the mix.yay! I'm all caught up!

In Cauayan better to built is a cement water tank specifically if you live along shoreline area. My father before use to erect cement made culvert into a water storage tank. Five culvert of 3 ft height is already fifteen ft high. Enough too supply water through pipeline in a bungalow type house. For us, the biggest downside is salty air
kiss your electronics good bye
A water tower be built 5 years ago from angle iron 2&1/2" and 5/16ths thick is now a death trap
