I am going to have to coordinate a run up that way - probably on the Tuesday 2/25.

My two boxes I shipped via sea cargo (LBC) the week of Christmas just arrived at Tiling.

Lots of tools n stuff - but I threw in several chicken and goat books. One of the books as a European sold Chicken Encyclopedia. Analou informed me that we absolutely must have crested dutch (AKA Polish in the USA).

So...

I had already ordered white faced black polish.

Now I have to find a few others fluffy tops.

Bad news on the mottled houdans.... Both Hens Lol. Actively looking for a roo for them. They're in the Polish pen right now, but not laying

OZ i feel your pain

However if you look at what shape things were in just 2 years ago , you didn't have even 1 egg in the "ref" at your place

now you are swimming in eggs. In another year most all of the rough edges will be a thing of the past


My eggs are picking up

i guess moving the ducks into their own pen made the chickens start thinking about going into production.

the wife also removed 2 more roosters from the coop (went to camp)

i still see a couple more that need to go, their time will come.

Its all good. Once we get the Buff Orps up and running the rest will be a bonus.

those toxic little buggers met their match.

I am spraying a surface permethrin spray on my egg house floor once a month after its routine scrub and bleaching.

brooders and hatcher-bator also have feet in water cans
