Speaking of silkies...

I just found a local lass that has great silkies - collects 12-20 eggs a day so I should have fresh ones for the next trip.

It wil be my last stab at the fluffy buggers
Iknow you have been working with SallySubshine for the White faced Black Spanish, You do know her daughter has a FRIZZEL Silkie project going right? When you think of designer chickens and stuff whats designer without the frizzel.. Just saying

Silkies and crosses of silkies can have 4 to 7 toes, but should have 5 toes. You should put up pictures of your new cuties Piglett.

Here are some pictures of a f1 frizzled silkie aka sizzle, they tend to be just as broody as a silkie.

Good luck on the silkie eggs Oz.
