Getting the flock out of here - a diary of a crazy chicken man

We had no input in the "nature" part of their cognative development but we are working hard on the nurture side.

My wife takes the time to expose them to new things and then explain it to them.

I am not sure if I said this already so forgive me if I have - after the swim with the whale sharks he told Mrs Oz that the whale shark did not have a very good mommy because she did not make him brush his teeth and now he doesn't have any.
I'm getting a mental image of a whaleshark brushing his teeth

Sent you a pm with my two cents... (In Euros, so that's about 2,7 Merkan or 2,9 Kangaroo. About 1,2 Pesos.)

I once babysat for a little girl who was asking "Why" about things at 18 months. Blew me away. She would sit and absorb the answers too. She just wasn't mimicking.
Sounds like my kids and all of their questions. I would always give them an answer (not a baby answer either) and they would listen and either be satisfied or ask more questions. After we were done I would always sit there and think to myself "wow, what kind of little kid asks that kind of question? Oh boy, I'm in trouble". Nothing like being proud and scared all at once at how smart your kids are.

Hopefully they don't have a stubborn streak to go with the brains Oz

I did that... and if I didin't know I told him so. Then we did research on it.

My big push this trip is to get cream Legbars and turkeys established. I have hatched a few in the past but need more to make the breeds viable.

I also have one Breda fowl hen that I am trying to get a roo for.

I have a few eggs of other breeds I already have but want to boost gene pools.

I also have a few peafowl eggs that i hope to convert into roof climbing noisy but pretty birds

My dehumidifier crapped out so one of my luggage is a replacement. That limits my other luggage considerably
