I have discovered there is a fairly large Filipino population here in podunk. I one regular that will buy roos. Of course he likes to haggle so I always price them a bit more than I know he'll actually go for in the end.Next time you see him, tell him you know a guy that sells "real" chickens in the Philippines for his family!!

my tom was 40 lbs at 11 months oldThe turkeys are probably broad breasted.
The males will not reproduce with out artificial insemination but you can get a medium breasted bronze and cross with the hens.
I have a couple of broad breasted bronze eggs - hoping to get them to hatch. I would love to bring a 40lb turkey to my mother in law for Christmas and ask her to clean it! (My MIL does not process birds btw)

We are blessed with an amazing freeway network in SoCal. Provided there are no accidents this early on a Saturday - it should be a breeze.
