The pigs are all serviced. We managed to give three services each. Mrs Oz is now the super butakal (boar) of Southern Negros. In 116 days will she be a father or a mother?

Wysan started officially this morning. His first task was to harvest 16 lengths of bamboo which he knocked out in 2 hours. Now it's onto building the second large grow out pen.

Also are you going to be back in time for the births? It is going to be a busy (and fun) time!

If not for your sake, then think of your daughter? What would she be called??

Earlier I sent Analou a text without any response. She may be in school or even changed phones.

I'd say stepmother. Or wielder of turkey baster.

Wysan seems like an efficient man, hopefully he's in it for the long haul. Do Filipino lumberjacks wear plaid shirts too?

When people start working for us they are normally so poor they may have 3 threadbare t-shirts. We stock them with clothes but currently we are low due to the turn over.

He will get a supply of clothes this week.

He will also be enrolled in social security and health insurance.

He has come from a job tending to sheep and has experience with water buffalo, cane cutting as well as odd jobs.

He is used to living in much more isolation than here.

Candling will be delayed until Saturday. Things got busy and I am off to bacolod for dental work tomorrow. I also have to pay to extend my visa which is only good for 21 days, organize bird shipping to Manila and buy hardware to complete the piggery automatic waterers.

The guys will work on the grow out structure and 900kg of feed will be delivered.
