We being the few hundred people on the plane. PAL gives you 15 mins free internet on the flight so that you may spend 20 to get internet all the way.

I am in LA in my apartment. Time to get and convert back to this time zone is going to be hard.

It's very strange to be on the other side of the pacific. Its 2 am and I am wide awake after a 2 hour sleep.

Back at CocoBeach 200 chick boxes that hold 12 chicks each arrived today. We also bought 50 double chicken boxes so we are good for the next release of orders - which won't be until September. The chick boxes are 22cents and the adult boxes are 60cents if bought in bundles of 25.

Before I left I seperated all the red mix hens and put them in with extra RIR roo and a red Dorking roo. I figured I can make a bunch of red colored mutts.

I have the RIR, barred rock, buff ORP, BBS Orpington, BBS jerseys, cuckoo marans and white rocks all in breeder coops. The blue egg layers are lacking a roo so they got a BCM so we should get olive eggers.

There are a couple of hundred juvies that are growing fast. The chicken mission tagged birds will probably be laying next month so I will retain all their eggs until mid September.

By September the Australorp and BCM should be close to laying as well.

We set 130 eggs this week.

The cream legbar, polish and new Hampshire chicks are doing well. They no longer need lights except at night and just for another week. I am treating them with kid gloves. I cannot afford to lose a single pullet.

The grow out pen shoulfd be called the gowing up pen. Mosy of the mutts in this pen are tagged for the chicken mission. The purebreds will become breeders

The new tankal has a TSC auto filler float in a 55 gallon drum in the ceiling and 2 watering nipples per pen. the new pens are 8x12 with 3 pigs in each.

Those piggies are looking good, I especially like the spotted one. Any escape artists among them yet? And feeding time appears to be a popular event in your runs.

I had to put carabiniers on the gates as they would work them open.
