The shirts are made of pineapple fiber and the skirts are a traditional woven fabric

I haven't heard of using pineapple fibers, only bamboo. They're probably pretty breathable? I wonder if coconut fibers would work too.

Interesting using pineapple fiber to make a fabric, does the cloth smell
like pineapple when you wear it?

Piña cloth is reserved for wedding dresses and Barongs - the traditional formal shirt. It is breathable but scratchy. It does not smell of pineapple.

Coconut fibers are made into cloth.

So are water lillies

I feel like I'm jumping into the deep end of the pool. Haven't read all my beginner stuff, but I had to finally say hello. I love this thread and I love all of you. I feel like I know you.

I am feeling much better.

Dominic took some days off and I started a new helper today to replace whoever just quit - I lost track of names. The isolation is too much at night.

Its been a while since I had to feed all the animals, scoop pig poop and label eggs.

None of these guys have TVs in their own home and we only watch a few movies so I had not given it much thought but we are going to buy a couple of cheap TVs and antenna to see if it can keep the guys company at night.
