He gave no reason. No apology.

His text read: "I cannot return to work. I am going to Manila" thats it.

He sent a text to Mrs Oz saying he will go back to work as a truck drivers assistant delivering eggs to Manila.

He has reconciled with his wife. She is in Manila.

At least he is trying to keep his family together. He may have been under a lot of pressure.

Too bad his wife does not recognize a good deal when she see it.

My workers are kept busy but they also have plenty of down time.

If they worked in a normal Philippines agricultural heirachy they would work a lot harder.

lets look at the whole emplyment history

Laila and - came from another island. Previously worked at pinapple plantation. Arrived with 2 shopping bags. Lasted 14 months - they wanted to return home
Dominic and Ging - From our area - worked in sugar cane plantation. lasted 2 years - left because Ging was asked to help out in Bacolod when Lorenzo had Pnumonia at 2 weeks of age. She thought it was permanent and quit without knowing we had nanny starting
Bernie and Analou - from other side of island - bernie did odd jobs, analou was not working. lasted 15 months. Analou was promised by aunt that she would go to school if she returned home. Aunt got sick. No school.
When we started to get busy we employed Alfed. Bernies nephew to help.
Dominic and Ging return. Alfred quits after 3 weeks. Several people start and quit helping Dominic. Dominic lasts 8 months and goes on booze bender abandoning his wife and kids.
Bernie comes back as animals only. Jun2 and start. Problems from the begining. Terminated at 4 months. Meanwhile Bernies wife leaves him, leaving their kid with relatives.
Dodong and Lillian arrive a month ago. Bernie starts needing time off for obscure reasons, fails to come back to work after day off twice then quits.

The only people who quit over work were terminated


I am painfully aware that Mrs Oz cant save the day when she is here
