Just curious as to whether you considered quarterly bonuses rather than semi-annual... It seems that a problem you've discussed in the past is that many workers come into a large sum of money (the July or December bonus) and just disappear and get/stay drunk till the money runs out...

Not saying Dodong would do this, but with the farm becoming more and more successful $$ wise, and growing rapidly with chook/egg/pig sales, that 2.5%/6mos is going to grow pretty quick to a rather nice sum. Right now from all you've posted he seems like a very well grounded family man.

A very interesting read, sounds somewhat like a dairyfarm hand with chickens added to the mix. Kinda like I grew up doing back in the 50's/60's and thought it was normal.

Bernie left owing me money - he raided the petty cash without permission to go home in an emergency the day his wife left him.

He was paying it back slowly.

I had also set up a bank acc for him with 2000 pesos minimum deposit.

He did however try and get his cut from the 4 piglets sold before he left from Lillian (Bernie lost petty cash privs) but she refused.

With the bonuses accrued, he still owed 30 bucks and has made no attept to arrange to pay it back

What breed of Chicken is Scooby Do..... He is soooo pretty....

And These pigs they have spots are these the landrace pigs you were talking about?
