Clear polyuethane is out of the question unless one of you wants to buy it for me

Oz, are the coops going to be much darker with the lattice? Enough to depress laying? I would go lighter on the paint if it might have an effect.

Also, curious about how long the latices would last without paint compared to painted.

the light reduction wont effect laying

If painted it will last 10 years,

Without paint, maybe 3-5

I vote chocolate brown on the survey, but I suggest paintings the coops what egg colour you want them to lay, it would be beautiful!
