There is a similar way to weigh mini horses, big horses have a "weight tape" that just measures around the chest and gives you a rough weight, but mini's don't work right with that.

Hope you and the Misses have a great time. Might be a little late but, it helps the number of post. Monday the 23rd, which is tomorrow her is my wife's and my anniversary and the big Kabir rooster goes in the pot. Just by getting rid of him my feed bill should drop by about 30%. That boy eats like he is a horse. He weighs in at a whopping 8.6 kilos. He is the biggest rooster I have ever seen or owned. I kinda hate to get rid of him but, he attacked my wife and she cast her vote. Which in our house on some issues is a majority.
