Getting the flock out of here - a diary of a crazy chicken man

Busy, harrowing, but fruitful day...I'd be losing my mind too.

And wouldn't that be "farrowing?"

OK, so my daughter and I have decided that we are going to watch the Harry Potter series through, one movie each night. Well I guess we were both tuckered tonight and we both fell asleep in the middle. So I am leaned back on the couch with my eyes closed and I am hearing baaing. I'm thinking, "Wait a moment, there isn't any sheep in Harry Potter." I open my eyes and see Lorelie, a white spring lamb, looking at me. She skitters off into my daughters bedroom. I look toward the back door which opens into the pasture and there is Lolli my weaned bottle baby ewe curled up against the back door. They had opened the door and come in to raid the sack of feed by the back door. Lolli had closed the door again when she laid down. They had been in long enough that I had to sweep the berries up all the way from the back door to my daughters bedroom. I guess they were having them a girls night out.
