Getting the flock out of here - a diary of a crazy chicken man

I was over 50 years old the first time I saw snow. It was nice for the first hour, because it was new to me. After the first hour, I was over it. No thanks, you can keep it.

Congrats Oz!

How are the flight schedules from WA to the Phils?

I had been doing consulting work was I needed the flexibility. The previous facility I was at was in severe financial straights and was on credit hold with vendors.

I decided to look for something permanent. I had a job offer come in for Florida and another for Bakersfield. This one in Spokane was not the highest paying but offered more security and growth. Not having to prove myself is also a great thing

I looked at the map you will be just across the border from where My horse was born. And straight across to Montana is where she will go for her retirement home. Near Flathead Lake Montana.

Oh there is so much history in that part of the US I want to explore. Maybe when I take Katee up I will get a chance to see the Pacific Northwest coast.

Gosh you should be able to get a nice chunk of property there and have a few chickens. Though I imagine youd be doing the most of your animals in the Phils still.

Florida = nice weather, oceans, sunshine, adjacent to Alabama, free child care (bamadude's babysitting/ airboat tours/ swamp parasailing/)
Swamp parasailing?!

I'm picturing a giant mosquito pulling a parasailing Oz and a flock of skeeters on the chase...is this an accurate pic?
