of course you are welcome...it's info and sharing and general love of the animal.

i must add that YOU made a great decision. so many posts about how they cannot believe they got reported, had to give the chickens away etc. honoring the law is to be commended and will be a blessing to your family.

a year is no time...lots of time to get info and find what you want.

I think it would be best to wait too.
Check out the place where you're moving to see if you can have chickens there.
It would be worse on the kids if you were able to stay under the radar for the year only to move to a new place and have them taken away.

I didnt own chickens when I first got onto the website so I cant imagine it would be a problem. I think everyone here at BYC is absolutley wonderful and wouldnt mind since we are trying to turn everyone, everywhere into chicken lovers

see its not only the silkies that are trying to take over the world its ALL chickens! (all other types of chickens are the soldiers and the silkies are the masterminds
