Getting them ready to go outside.....a bit nervous *added video*

You could tell him that 6wk old keets are hawk and owl bait... (not to mention bait for fast sneaky ground predators like foxes, ferrel cats, loose dogs etc). If he wants them to be able to go outside (and since he's such a handy guy with the carpenter tools!) have him build them a covered pen attached to their 12'x12' coop where they can stay safe until they are old enough to start free ranging

Plus if they have a covered pen, then the adults can see them, get to know them, but not GET to them.

Stand your ground girl, you put a lot of worry and stress into those babies, lol.

Last night was their second night loose in the barn. They did good with me herding them back to their "dinner". We got a new tractor today and my husband is out mowing the fields. I am hoping to let them outside for a bit tonight, and hopefully they won't wander too far.

I took a few videos of them exploring the barn......man are 12 guineas NOISY! I'll post some later when I get them uploaded.

LOL they are discussing everything new they see, once they get used to the sights and sounds of your land they will settle down and only get noisy about new things and things that cause them to sound the alarm like predators, stray dogs, visitors, the UPS man... ect, lol

LOL! I love it. You've definitely got a few Hens with some major lungs there, lol. I hear the boys chimin' in too

Your horse's expression is like "oh you gotta be kidding, hurry up, open the door and get those noisy things outa here", lol.
Beautiful healthy flock, congrats! Hope they come in for you like good lil kids!

I think I can hear 7 hens of the 12 total. The horse is definitely not too fond of them. She's saying, "In all my 31 years in this barn I've never heard such a racket!"
