I highly suggest checking out BYC's sister site called BackYard Herds considering you raise goats. Those folks have been big helps to us when we had goats. What type of chickens are you looking to get?

Hi and welcome!!!! I've only been a member for a few days but "lurked" for months before joining. My son and his family live in the Raleigh area....NC is beautiful and they love it there.
Six dogs!!! Wow! What fun.....I have three. This is a great place to learn from the experienced folks who are so patient and willing to help! So glad you joined!
