I was not going to start up my incubator till after I move but being that I am going to be getting rid of a rooster that I have I decided to do away with it. I am not sure what the breed but from what I Have seen in pictures it looks to be a Wyndotte(sp) and I would like to have some hens from this rooster.
I just started it up tonight so it is going to be tomorrow when I get the eggs into the incubator. Something that I would like to know is what has your hatch ratio been for hen/rooster this year. Last year I always had more roosters then hens but, that was more in the freezer or having to sell them if no time to butcher.

So what is the ratio of hens to roosters looking like at this time?
