Does anyone utilize the so called poopdeck in the coops and does it really help?

I don't use them, but many people do. I hear they are a great time saver and keeps the bedding really clean. Give it a try and see how it goes.

Seems like it might keep he coop a bit cleaner. What type of chickens do you have? If I may ask where is your location in NM? wondering if there is a certain type of chicken that does better in or location.
