Hello again! After letting The Duke grow and develop more, I can't help but want to continue this beautiful color pattern he has that i've dabbled a little in the limited research I've discovered. He is the only one of his color that I have, and I was wondering if anyone more knowledgeable about Paints and Ghost Barring could help me out?
I would love to eventually get his line to a more APA Standard of Perfection and I am aware it will be a lot of work to do and take a long time, not only with the rare color genetics but also from the fact that he's also a hatchery chick. But I can't help but want to try.
So my question is what should I breed him to, to continue his color? I understand that Paint also does not breed true in a sense? Do I use Blues to enhance the barring? Whites? Add Barred as well? Right now I currently only have Red Pyle hens and Roos and one BBR Roo. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Here's some pics of this little man, he is currently 8 months old
