Ghost Dog?

I haven't had any personal experiences with ghosts, animal or otherwise,but there is a famous ghost dog in England. Can't remember which castle it is, but it's open to the public for tours. Many people have reported seeing a cavalier king charles spaniel on a certain stairway. Some visitors are very upset that dogs are allowed into such a historical place and complain to the front desk, only to learn that it is a ghost dog that many people see.

My step sister put one of her cats to sleep a year ago. She told me that for several nights after, she would feel him jump up on the bed and lie down next to her. I think it's possible, but she was on oxycodone at the time, so I do have a certain level of skepticism for her particular experience.

I've lost many animals over the years and never been visited by them. I would welcome a visit, though...........

We had something similiar happen a few nights ago, We had a small lamp on in the Living room so one side of the room was lighted and the other half was I guess you could say "Dimmed" I walked into the living room and felt something like air brushing my leg like something ran past me, Looked at the floor and saw a black cat walk across the floor and go underneath one of our chairs, the chair has a sheet over it drapping to the floor, I even saw the drapping quiver, we have one black and WHITE cat that was outside, I thought maybe he got in and I just mislooked his white, Turned the light on to get him out, Nothing under the chair, only cat in the house was mine who was shut in my room. No place it could have gotten in or out

I think most ghost that visit this plane or the ones who are still stuck here are friendly and just 'checking in' although there are the few that are not so nice, of that im certain.
Ive had numerous incidents where ive seen, felt, heard or smelled something that wasnt there or shouldnt have been there. I usually make a note of it and write it down somewhere. My mums side of the family is very open to the idea of ghosts/spirits so i atleast have someone to talk to about it.

I saw a little girl (6-7yrs old) once on our old country property, in a very old white frilly dress with lace and blue ribbon, with the old style soft leather lace up boots, shoulder length dirty blonde ringlets, and she was just sitting on a log down by the creek when i was taking my old dogs for a run, both my dogs looked in her direction and wagged tails, one even let out a whine, but they didnt run to her like they would if it was an actual little girl, she was only there a minute, looking at us, and then just gone. Freakiest thing about this little girl was i found out later when i was talking to my gran about it, my cousin, who was 5yrs at the time, and lives in a diffrent state, had been talking to my gran about a week earlier about her imaginary friend 'Grace' who dressed exactly the same, who talked funny (old english, correct grammer ect), who she had been playing with for weeks. Cold shivers anyone?
The house i am in at the moment has a ghost cat, it rubs against your legs every now and then, not just to us residents but guests too who freak a little bit when they realise none of my three cats are anywhere near them lol funny to watch, but very hard to explain what happened to a sceptic, and we also have an lovely old mans cologne that wafts thought our kitchen on a nearly daily basis in the afternoon (and no, there are no men in this house)
So many other incidents have happened over the years (good and some scary) such as the laundry lady, the old man, the black horse, and then there was the decaying man and dog, that scared me so bad i slept with the light on for three nights! that you probably dont have time to read about here, so ill leave it at that for now.

As someone else previously said, just acknowlege them, and leave them be. most are not here to scare you, if they have a message for you they will pass it on, but most are just watching or 'checking in'
