Ghost Dog?

When I worked at Long John Silvers, I was working Drive-Thru, I watched a car driving up to the menu board outside, and I didn't see anything of the licence plates on the car.......I KNOW that I saw a Blue Merle Harlie Doberman sitting in the front seat of this car looking at the driver, and looking towards me, with it's tongue hanging out (summertime).

As the order was short, the driver pulled up, and I was going to comment on the beautiful Dobie she had in her front seat..............no Dobie in the car...............I asked the driver where's the Dobie?

She tearfully told me that her beloved dog (she showed me a pic of her dog-same one I saw) had passed away two weeks before!!!!!

I didn't dare tell her I saw her dog in the car with her!

It might have comforted her or it might have freaked her out. That is a hard call to make.

Although I have never seen anything, but once in a while I'll be laying in bed and reading and all of a sudden it feels like something jumped on oo off the bed. I know there weren't any animals in my room , but I still looked anyway.

Is a spirit dog different then the ghost of a dog? I didn't get any scary vibes from it. It just seemed to be watching me.

yes, a spirit dog is there to protect you...kinda like your guardian angel.....you will be seeing him more and more....your dog knows and thats why she/he was acting the way they did.hes friendly dont worry!!

+1
Consider it a good thing.

Nope. Trying not to leave too much evidence laying around for the sanitarium review board. But a definite yes.

it's a spirit dog....seriously

Yes, there are such things! Horses too.

I had a big black qh mare. I bought her when she was 3 and she passed away at age 34. She was the only black horse I have ever owned. For 3 days after she died all of us--my SO, myself, and the 3 guys who worked for me--saw her grazing out in our main pasture. Twice I tried to walk up to her, only to have her "melt" away. On the 3rd night, I dreamed she was grazing in a high mountain pasture near Pikes Peak (we used to camp there summers). The next day she was not out in my pasture anymore. I am absolutely certain that for those 3 days she was out in that pasture grazing with her daughter, her grandson, and her 2 granddaughters. Those first three nights they all slept on her grave but after I had that dream, they stopped. It was like they were keeping her company til she found her way .... And I have seen her since. Every time one of our old horses dies, it's like she comes to lead them home or something.

I grew up in a haunted house, so I know ghosts exist. I see no reason why an animal wouldn't have a spirit. When my daughter was much younger she used to say that she coud see our pets that had passed away sitting on top of the hay in our barn and that they looked happy. When a close human friend died, she claimed that Doreen was in the hay too, and Doreen smiled at her like she was letting her know it was OK. This would happen at night. I thought DD was dreaming because she would say that she woke in the middle of the night and went to the barn and saw them. Then my beloved orange barn cat came up missing. He was gone for 5 months. I just knew he was dead. DD kept telling me that she knew he was still alive because he wasn't in the hay with the others. She was right. He reappeared Christmas Day. We were eating dinner and there was meowing at the door. It was him. I found out last year that he was gone those 5 months because a neighbor had stolen him. DD doesn't go to the barn anymore because she is grown up and moved out. I don't find it spooky. It's interesting and reassuring. Doreen's husband found comfort in it too. The husband had another relative that was dying that saw Doreen too. Before she passed, she told him what a comfort it was that Doreen came and sat with her everyday. Nobody had told her that Doreen had passed suddenly because she had enough trouble dealing with her own impending death.
