Well since we are getting closer to my favorite holiday I figured we should get in the mood! Sooo how about we tell some ghost stories & creep each other out a bit! Or just talk about Halloween & things that go bump in the night! I love this stuff! <3 So who here believes in ghosts?????

My mother who totally a no nonsense type person and I were visiting a friend who lived in the Witchduck area of VA. Beach. Witchduck was said to be the home of many witches back in the day and many say there are a lot of spirits still roaming around there. The house we were visiting was quite old and said to have its own house. As we sipped on tall glasses of iced tea our hostess was tell us all the strange things that happened in her home on a daily basis. After listening for a while my mother told the lady she thought it was total baloney and there was no such thing as ghosts. The words were no sooner out of my mother's mouth when the bottom fell from her glass of tea, drenching her with tea and ice. It looked like someone had cut a perfect line around the bottom of the glass.

My mother says it was because the lady poured hot tea into the glass over the ice, but I am not so sure.
