Giant Duckling

is this a jumbo pekin? It trampled everything in its path. The other ducklings are getting hurt. It's 1 month old.

Hmm, that is pretty hard to tell. I think she may be a normal pekin with that age difference. Ducklings literally double their size in just a couple of days and especially pekins because they are such heavy weight birds. My best guess now is a regular sized pekin.

Is that your brooder? If so, you need a bigger one! If you've got or can get a kiddie pool that will work if you stand up cardboard all the way around it so the ducks can't escape!

Yes but that's old picture and they've been out in the run for a week now.

Yes they are growing the pekin is huge. The runner though hasn't been feathering yet I've read they take longer? My little Mallard has feathered nicely as well.
