Giant egg

I have some young laying hens and today I got the biggest egg that any of our chickens have ever laid. The egg doesn’t look that big but that’s not a little foot ruler next to it that’s a yard stick! My poor hen! So can we expect more giant eggs or was this hopefully a fluke (for the hens sake). Anyone want to guess what inside when I crack it, 1 giant yolk 2 yolks maybe even 3 who knows?

I haven’t cracked it open yet but it seems extremely heavy. I thought I’d let people guess before I open it up, just for the fun of it. I have officially become a crazy chicken lady.

It was a three yolk egg! 2 big yolks and a small yolk. I'm sure three yolks in one day will help lower my cholesterol, oh well it was a good egg.
