Please help... She's doing really bad and she stays by the water all day and I'm not sure if she's eating or not, she can't close her mouth..

I would separate her from the group and watch her for a while to make sure she is eating and drinking. If not, you can feed her with a syringe. Also, if the growth is liquid filled, you can try to drain it by cutting a small hole and pushing some out or using a syringe with a needle.Good luck!

I would guess that she has canker, a protozoan. It is contagious to other chickens, so separation should be done. I would take her to a vet if you can find one. If not, then I would treat her with Fish Zole (metronidazole, Flagyl.) You can find it easily online, and I would get 250 mg tablets. You will also need to remove any growths that are blocking her airway or preventing her from eating. That will be painful, I'm sure. Castportpony and some others on here have more knowledge about canker than I do, since I've never treated it. You can PM her with questions.

Thanks so much for the help, I'll keep you updated if anything happens :D

Thanks SO much, yes I've heard of Fish Zole but I never thought of using it for chickens  I'll see if I can order it, thanks again!
