Giant rolls of excelsior (for nest boxes) at Lowe's for 20$ in the lawn section 4 ft x50ft!

Am I the only one who didnt know about this?

Bales of hay cost $8 or less by me and chickens can eat the hay. Smells much better than a recycled product. Afterwards , it gets raked into the run for scratch and play..
Hay makes a more inviting nest in my opinion.

It's a sort of string/wool made from recycled wood. Makes a great nest box.
