I haven't picked her up to see if that helps, but no.Wow, that's an interesting egg shell for sure! I have no idea why her eggs are coming out like this.

Not sure what this refers to?I haven't picked her up to see if that helps, but no.
My cousin raises chickens, and he told me picking them up can cause that.HuH that's kinda cool!
Have you cracked the egg open to examine the thickness of shell?
Would be best to crack it across the mend,
from small end to large end of egg,
by rapping it with a knife.
An egg that cracks during the shelling phase,
from a scare/jump/tumble,
can be 'mended' by further shelling,
but I've never seen one like this.

Who suggested picking her up and why?
Ehhh.....maybe, you'd have to handle them pretty roughly. My cousin raises chickens, and he told me picking them up can cause that.
Active imagination would describe him definitely. He has 11 chickens, 16 pigs, 3 dogs, and 1 horse! I read that it's actually the result of having too much calcium in their body, so extra gets deposited onto eggs.I think your cousin has a very active imagination. Does your cousin have chickens?
@RAsChickens Maybe you missed this part?Have you cracked the egg open to examine the thickness of shell?
